Mom Support Therapy
Many emotions arise during pregnancy and postpartum that can be joyful and also, a sense of overwhelm. You're grateful to have a child and yet, may not understand why you have feelings of guilt, anxiety, or sadness. This is a very common feeling for moms. There is often a sense of identity loss after having a child and all the added hormones contribute to how we are feeling.
It's a struggle and challenge to find balance. You might be feeling alone in the process, even if you're surrounded by others.
How I can Help
We will work together on processing the uncomfortable feelings within a safe space. You will begin to find a sense of calm once you're able to release those negative feelings bottled up inside of you.
At my office in Lake Geneva, WI or I can come to your home to help alleviate time pressure. We can do therapy while you're still attending to the needs of your child or if they're old enough, they can possibly play on their own, and we can have time just for you. Also, we can do walk-talk or run-talk therapy if you'd like to get out of the house and go for a stroll.
I'm available between 10 a.m. - 6 p.m on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Payment must be received at the start of session and for in-home therapy, 24-hours in advance.
I'm in-network and accept Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UMR, UnitedHealthcare, and Medicaid.
I encourage using out-of-network insurance too. Most out-of-network insurances cover 50-80% of the cost after your deductible has been met. We can work together on learning about your insurance benefits and I can call on your behalf. When you do use out-of-network, all sessions will still need to be paid in full at your scheduled time. I can provide you with a receipt (superbill) to submit for reimbursement.
