Mom support during postpartum depression

Supporting You is a Priority!

Postpartum Therapy Group

Our postpartum therapy group offers support and treatment for individuals after having a baby.

Being within a safe and compassionate space with other moms who are going through a similar experience, naturally helps reduce isolation. And with proper support and treatment, it will help decrease intense negative thoughts and feelings that you are experiencing.

Our group will be 8 weeks in length with up to 6 members participating.

To give you a sense of being a good fit for the group, you may have had, or currently have, been experiencing any of the following:

  • Sadness

  • Crying spells

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Appetite disturbances

  • Irritability, anger or rage

  • Guilt or shame

  • Hopelessness or helplessness

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Difficulty connecting with your baby

  • Constant worry

  • Feeling that something bad is about to happen

  • Racing thoughts

  • Restlessness

  • Dizziness, hot flashes, nausea

  • Intrusive/scary thoughts

You are not alone and there's help!

There will be one initial session with the therapist (Melinda) prior to starting group to make sure it's a proper fit.  You'll also complete intake forms before getting started.
